De permacomputing wunderkammer is een verzameling van artistiek onderzoek, projecten en interviews met kunstenaars. Rein presenteert er zijn Nintendo DS-systemen als kunstenaars gereedschap, en een assortiment van ‘zombie media’, oude technologie die nieuw leven ingeblazen is door deelnemers aan workshops voorafgaand aan de tentoonstelling.
Ook de door Rein gemaakte Solar Powered Webserver, die alle expositie informatie huisvest, is te vinden in de wunderkammer, een selectie van Noise Boxes van Veerle Pennock en resultaten van de Refunct media met Benjamin Gaulon.
Biblically Accurate Angel Clippy
This laptop and monitor that were found at the dump. The laptop had a broken harddrive but was otherwise fully functional. “Clippy”, the microsoft office assistant, was a recognizable character during the XP era. We pulled this laptop back from the afterlife, and found a mutated and transcended angel clippy inside.

This Wii was found during the same dumpster diving session.
Wii’s are easy to jailbreak and currently In the perfect moment of being common, cheap and not vintage yet. This console too has a lot of artistic potential if you shine a little metaphorical light on it.
